For many years there have been pages on Utility Poultry and Fancy Pigeons in my main website,unfortunately the software I used no longer functions with newer versions of Windows.  I have been unable to update pages, and so have started this site devoted solely to my birds.

I hope you find it of interest.

I was brought up in rural Anglesey; it was idyllic and now seems a lifetime ago.
Without doubt back in the late 1950's and early 60's Anglesey was stuck in a time warp!

We had frequent visits from an old Irish tinker, usually in time for lunch, Paddy was a real character! 
On one of his visits he gave me a pair of black bantams,
and then some weeks later arrived with  a pair of black & white Birmingham Rollers.

Little did Paddy know what he had started!
Since that time I have rarely been without poultry and pigeons.

Since that time I have had various breeds of poultry including:
Miniatures - Light  Sussex, Buff Sussex, Brahma, Andalusian
Large - Cuckoo Maran, Rhode Island Red, Welsummer, Buff Orpington,
Welbar, Cream Legbar, Rhodebar.
My interest is purely in utility birds, I have no desire to exhibit poultry,
though I am very happy to show their eggs!

Today my interest is in the Autosexing breeds and other than a few Rhodes and Cream Legbars I only have a small breeding pen of Welbars and am concentrating on the exciting Bielefelder Kennhühne.
This is a lovely dual purpose breed and appears to satisfy my requirements;
it is likely that in a few years they will be the only breed I keep!

Over the years I have bred various Fancy Pigeons:
Old Dutch Capuchines, Antwerp Smerles, Elster Croppers, Thuringian Whitebibs,
German D/C Priests, Lahores, Limerick Tumblers, Flying Rollers and assorted other breeds.
Today I concentrate on the Show Roller and the English Show Tippler,
I show both breeds and am an NPA judge of both.
